Once again we've decided not to go boating because it's too flippin' hot. We can just about keep cool at home but with temperatures in the 30s again this week we really don't fancy living in a steel box, no matter how good the insulation is. As for doing any more exterior painting on bits of the boat right now, you'd have more chance of frying eggs on it. Bearing in mind that Kath and I between us are now 158 years old do you think we're too chicken?

Heat stress is not what you need. Remember that boating is meant to be fun, not a struggle. So stay cool, stay home!

Very wise! it is 28.2 at 9pm here on Bonjour, with all the windows out, hatches open etc and we've been in the shade (mostly) since 3pm
